Title: Our bears
Post by: bare_trax on June 04, 2006, 11:32:55 AM
Well, me and Ray both got colour phase bears this spring. We got both of them within an hour and a half of each other, at the same bait. It was wierd because all spring we never even had any indication that there were any blondes coming to the baits. All we had seen were black bears. Now we wait again, for 12 agonizing months( 10 actually), for the season to start again. O0

I took mine with my rifle, and Ray took his with a bow. I was actually there as backup, and only had a gun with me, and after he shot his with a bow,  I had no choice........... There are pics posted in the hunters with game section of the pics...........

Not too sure what Rays gonna do with his, but I'll probably rug mine, and give it to the daughter for her acreage. How'd u do bearman? Get a couple of those monster bears from up around your area? Saw a video Donny had of a bruiser thats hitting his baits. He probably knocked it over by now..............

I don't think bearman worked the rigs..........think he did some other service type work as well as bear protection

yup...........Ray uses muzzy 100's and I use Crimson Rapters........but I haven't got one with the bow yet........just a bunch of 'em with the rifle......

Bare_trax HAS to just about be out of room on his walls for bear mounts. I bet trax's bears now have to be made into rugs. I wonder how a bearskin coat would be.
If a fella had one with the hair out, I sure wouldn't wear it in trax's neck of the woods during hunting season.   ;D
