Title: And another good hunt
Post by: shouldhunt on January 23, 2007, 10:55:51 PM
Lucky for me that I'm an alaska resident, this is a 8 1/2 foot brown bear I shot with my 338 WM, it was getting ready to take a nap in a snow ring around the little tree.  Stood up and got a 250 grain swift a-frame right thought the chest and back bone.  Shot him down in a area on the alaska penisula.  Hunting in alaska is alot of fun, but success is knowing where to go, and the drive to get it done.

WOW!  Nap time, for sure!  O0 How did you get him out of there after you shot him?

Cut him up, put on back pack and carry 5 miles.  Just like that.
