Oh, I've got it recorded. O0  I got both of the later shows recorded on the DVR.  The only trouble is getting it OFF OF the DVR.  ???

You forget, I'm a 'low-tec' redneck. ;D O0 :uglystupid2 :crazy2
;D Hmm well don't feel too bad because it is pretty complicated...and every make of DVR is going to have a different way to rip files from it.
Tivo's method is probably the most user friendly but you will still have to buy additional software because it uses a custom extension.
You might be able to take the hard drive out of any DVR and just connect to your pc with an IDE cable but I bet that even then, some of the HDDs do not use a windows FAT or NTFS...and it will void your warranty. :-\
So your best bet would be getting a cheap TV tuner card for your PC.
If you want to get one let me know and I can see which one would be best for you.

I haven't used my TV Tuner card in over a year so it went in the trash. Cheap tuner cards are more hassle than they're worth. If you go cheap, you can likely end up with a lot of frustration as you try to get the little b@st@rd to do this or stop doing that.

And Windows hasn't used a standard FAT partition (Not to be confused with FAT16 or FAT32 partitions) since Windows 95 or earlier. XP started using the NTFS partitioning, and don't even get me started on Vista's partitioning technology, especially considering that each individual account is virtualized and unable to access the true 0 level baseline of the OS coding. (This is why so many older versions of software is incompatible, because it requires that it be run on the 0 level baseline... and "Run as Administrator" is not the same thing. :P )

WTF did they just say?  ???

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

Well of course...I did forgotted to write 32 but figured it was common knowledge anyways.

Hey look!  I'm not the only nerd around here! :D

I hate Vista so much I will not use it.
I'm looking forward to Window 7 though...Hopefully they've learned from Vistas mistakes. :-\

Let's see if I can clarify things for you BC. Imagine that a partition is a game. FAT partitions would be like old stick figure hangman; FAT16 would be DOOM; FAT32 would be World of Warcraft; NTFS would be Battlefield 2142; and Vista's take on NTFS would be like Crysis with dual graphics cards and a physics card. Is that more your language? ;D

I just wanted to mess with non's head though. :D

BTW nOn, Windows 7 is nothing more than a tweaked version of Vista with some added cool little toys. One of my co-workers is Beta-testing it. Personally, I like Vista. You need a fairly decent computer to make full use of it but if you can utilize all of it, it's pretty nice. O0

To you gutless cowards and scumbags, who are trying to lie and rewrite history. To those out to commit genocide on the Southern people with your destruction of Confederate monuments and your attacks on Southern heritage and pride. Be happy for now. Because someday when that civil war you wanted starts. I will find you. And I will kill you.

Having recently moved, I haven't had time to check the PO Box. I'll see if I can check it tomorrow morning before work. O0
