I think that if you're paid to do it, then you SHOULD be a professional, but there are those who sure don't act like it.

Anyone that hunts and/or kills for money is just that. But in my line of sight,(example: Pro Staff) what the hell is that? You have to earn that title not get it handed to you cuz you made a video or took a picture. If that were the case we all are pro's at one thing or another! :-X

When you talk about those that hunt for money, I assumed you were talking about folks like gator, who are hired to hunt and kill animals. Those who have TV shows hunting are not professional hunters, IMO. They're simply a hunter's entertainer.

My idea of a professional hunter is someone who makes their living hunting animals and guiding others to the animals they've "hunted". O0  The folks on TV with the shows........... they're entertainers, not professional hunters.

As for Gatortrapper, he's a nuisance wildlife control person.  Yeah, he used to make his living doing it, but the stuff he does is in a whole different ball park.  A professional hunter I think of doing their trade out in the middle of nowhere, whereas a nuisance trapper does his/her work around populated areas.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

A man who kills for pleasure is called a sadist.

A man who kills for money is called a mercenary.

A man who kills for both is called an AIRBORNE RANGER!!  O0

I have to admit that most of those outdoor shows leave much to be desired. The fact these guys get paid to hunt or fish at all these places is one of life's great mysteries. Doe's anyone really think we'd be given the same treatment if we showed up at the same place they went, but we didn't have a weekly show on ESPN or VS?
To you gutless cowards and scumbags, who are trying to lie and rewrite history. To those out to commit genocide on the Southern people with your destruction of Confederate monuments and your attacks on Southern heritage and pride. Be happy for now. Because someday when that civil war you wanted starts. I will find you. And I will kill you.
