KY Bow Season Opening Weekend Harvest Pics
« on: September 07, 2009, 09:30:59 PM »
Here's a few I stole from another site to get you all primed and ready. O0  Our vertical bow season here in KY opened this past Saturday (9/5/09).  Looks like they've been whacking the does pretty hard so far.

This one is a dandy!

One in velvet with a longbow. O0  I went to college with this guy.

That's it for now.  I still got a few weeks left before the Excalibur Equinox and I will be hitting the woods though. >:(

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

Nice!  That chick in the second pic looks pretty good. ^-^
I'm not too sure about her shot placement though. :-P

From the height of it, I'd say that's the entrance and she was angling forward and down. O0  Can't argue with the end result though. ;D

Nice deer! That fella you went to college with, he must have paid attention to your advice, BC.  O0 His deer's chocolate antlers are nice, like the ones way up north.  O0

Actually, he was a couple of years ahead of me.

And the antlers are "chocolate" because they're still in velvet. O0

Oh God I feel Old!!! :buck2 :buck2 :buck2 :buck2 :buck2

I spent more time looking at the girl than I did that huge book taken with the long bow!
To you gutless cowards and scumbags, who are trying to lie and rewrite history. To those out to commit genocide on the Southern people with your destruction of Confederate monuments and your attacks on Southern heritage and pride. Be happy for now. Because someday when that civil war you wanted starts. I will find you. And I will kill you.
