Excalibur Crossbow Slow Motion
« on: September 26, 2009, 08:57:16 PM »
This is pretty interesting.  The crossbow that the guy is shooting is an Excalibur Equinox, similar to what I've got.

Here's one with a regular factory string on it.

Now here's the same bow, but with a Boo Custom string.  Watch how fast the string settles as compared to the factory string.  Watch how much the scope moves during the shot.  It's a wonder they stay set at all.

Pretty cool! O0 O0

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

O0 Those great videos show a lot. I can see the difference the two strings make.

Yes, while viewing, I did also check out the Sexiest Chick video.     ;D She happens to hunt with which GPS members besides bo and BC?
You reckon she would be interested in squirrel hunting?

BC, you sport one of those new strings on your crossbow, right? I added this because I didn't want to hijack your thread.

Yeah, I got Boo to make me 2 strings.  I've got one on the bow now.  They weren't cheap, but they're worth it. O0
