BTH, this is a GREAT idea for a thread. O0 I've already posted about Jasper, my pup who died recently, so I won't go into it again. But, I'd like to see what others post on here.

i used to have a dog that was part chow, part retriever or something. Ill find some pictures this morning. Her name was Tipper, because she looked like tipper gore. She was a great dog for the most part. She would only get mean if you tried to take a piece of candy from her. Didnt bother her if i took a bone or biscuit away, but she was a deadly chocolate fiend. Me and my bro both got scars on our hands to remember her by.   She died during a hike in missouri. I think she found a hippies candy bar, probly poisoned herself. Her nose started bleeding and we carried her down the mountain, but she died.

Had a ol cow dog that was 3 legged but could get the job done with dog broke cows until he tried out some fresh heifers and got caught wrong
It takes patience to break a good hound. Ya gotta be persistent and it helps to be a lil smarter then the dog.

I had a pitbull named "Bandit", I knew her as a pup, she was an ex's. He gave her to my best friend at the time and she came up to NC and brought bandit. She told me she was gonna take her to the pound, cuz "when the baby crawls on her, she growls"  ??? Ok, so I took bandit and she lived her life out with us. She was 16 when she got hit by a car and we had to put her to sleep.
She was awesome, didn't like being inside, stayed in the yard...except for pooping and never once growled or bit any of the boys!!!  O0

Wish I could have that one back!

had a full blooded australian shepard he was the best dog of my life i think shooter could actually understand the whole english language he went to school with me everyday of my junior and senior years and was a natural born tree dog yeah he worked stock but it didn't matter what was going on all you had to do was say shooter let's go tree a squirrel and before you could get the rifle he would be in the woods treed somewhere and have a sq. if i got a new pup to train all you had to do was turn it loose with him for a couple of weeks and if it was going to tree it would because he made it seem like a gane to a pup to tree sq. he sure made the job of getting a pup started alot easier he also listened better than most people's kids when you told him something that is what he did and he done it right now he went deaf at about 12 years old and he learned to quit barking when you put your finger to your lips he died when he was about to turn 16 boy would i give anything to have him back 6 months old again

To you gutless cowards and scumbags, who are trying to lie and rewrite history. To those out to commit genocide on the Southern people with your destruction of Confederate monuments and your attacks on Southern heritage and pride. Be happy for now. Because someday when that civil war you wanted starts. I will find you. And I will kill you.

   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

We had a pet coyote we bottle fed and raised. We had her (Coco) for 8 years.

We had some great dogs, the best being a young female yellow lab that was killed by a school bus that ran over her as she saved a gradeschool kid from being ran over by the bus.  The child walked in front of the bus as it was headed to the bus stop. Our dog ran in front of the bus and pushed the girl out of the way of the bus front wheel.

The bus driver came to our home right after the accident, bawling her eyes out.

Witnesses said the bus driver was driving much too fast.

We were living in a small river village in Illinois at the time, Gulfport.
