I told BC I wanted a cougar....

SOB sent a 65 year old woman to my house in a see through nighty....

I'm still seeing a pshrink because of the trauma!!!

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE....then PRACTICE some more. You can never shoot a bow too much especially with you being a beginner. Hook up with your neighbor and listen and learn. Be 100% confident in your shooting ability and your limits BEFORE you go to the woods. You owe it to the animals you pursue to be able to make a quick clean kill with it before you even try.

I shot it for a few hours last Thursday before I left and I actually did a lot better than I thought I would.  Once I figured out the sights, I was grouping 3"+/- pretty consistently at 30 yards.  The sights were way off but I'm going to get a good release before I mess with anything.
