which scope to buy ??????

i have a ruger mark11 .22 competition grade pistol and i want a scope. what is a good scope to put on this gun ?

I have this pistol and love it. Unless yours is truly competition grade, you'll need to get your hands on a rail. They make ones that screw onto the left handle and just rise up over the left side. Never used one, but have considered it from time to time.

As for scopes, I'd go for something in Bushnell or Nikon. Quality is fine and the price is reasonable. O0

im gonna go with a simmons, what is better for squirrels, a 2 x 20 or a 2-6 by 32 and why ?

stay away from the 2 x 20. My opinion is it just won't let enough light thru. 2-6 x 32 is much better, but leave it turned down, unless you have a solid rest. At 6 X on a handgun the shake will be magnified something fierce.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
