Morax, I doubt that they would even give me the time of day, especially considering that there aren't any 7/11 stores around here. :roll:

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

you never know, i have had to do that with a couple companies and they were real helpfull with tracking things down, a few of them sent items free of charge with extras as well...
when in doubt shoot twice
