Wow, Walleyes! Nice write-up. O0 Congrats to your son for the great luck he's been having this year. With a bull that big, we'll plan the GPS week-long bar-b-que campout at your place. You don't mind, right? O0

O0 O0 O0 O0 That is sure a fine camp you fellas have, walleyes! How far from your home do you set up camp?

The .280 worked great and I like what you said about bullet placement, which is paramount.  O0 O0 O0

Thx again guys..

John Andrews.. Were we hunt is about a 8 hr drive from my home town. It is way up in the north west part of Alberta only about 2 hrs from the Territories border.

We go a little over board on some things in camp but hey what the heck may as well be comfortable hey guys..

Things like hot water on demand..

Or how about a nice roast beef on the rotisserie done on the open fire with some taters..

Mmm looks good eh ??

Remember boys never compensate accuracy for size.. Its not the size of the hole in the lungs that kills but rather just the hole.. A hole in the lungs from a small gun will kill a moose just as fast as a hole from a big magnum,, there is no difference..

AMEN!! AMEN!! AMEN!! O0 O0 O0 O0 O0
To you gutless cowards and scumbags, who are trying to lie and rewrite history. To those out to commit genocide on the Southern people with your destruction of Confederate monuments and your attacks on Southern heritage and pride. Be happy for now. Because someday when that civil war you wanted starts. I will find you. And I will kill you.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
