Hunting 2010 whats in store?
« on: October 19, 2010, 12:10:11 PM »
Thursday the little kids can start hunting for the year.Saturday opens the general season for us older folk. I have been out and about a lot this fall and I'm NOT seeing many deer, the ones I am seeing are white tail rather than Muleys. The Mule deer I have seen have very tall antlers. The whities seam to have good number of points but are just Basket racks-small in size. I'm thinking were going to have to dig pretty hard to get a trophy this year. Any one else been seeing any thing different???

At least you're SEEING deer.  :tickedoff
The only purpose of bread is to hold meat!

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

+1 on that the deer herd is hurting here in Utah!
