Big Grizzly Bear
« on: January 27, 2011, 08:38:59 AM »

Big Bear shot Saddle Hills Alberta, Sept  20/2010

These two gents were calling elk in the  Saddle Hills south of working when this big guy slipped in on the  caller. The  shooter spotted the bear 8  yards from the caller and dropped him with 5 shots out of his 338  Rem Mag.. Farmers in  the area  knew about the Bear but  weren’t able to track after it had killed 3 horses, 5 cows, 13 sheep  and a pen full of chickens on several different homesteads in the  area.

Fish and  wildlife had bear traps set up in the area but notice on  surveillance video that when ever a he would enter his hump would  hit the top of the culvert trap  slowing him enough that the trap door would wack him on the head  before he was all the way in check out the   scar tissue on his  face…..

Bear weighed in just under 1300 pounds and would have stood 11 ¾  feet tall on its hind legs…

Never argue with an idiot; they will only bring you down to there level and then beat you with experience!

I dunno... When a bear THAT big is headin your way, I wonder how fast you can cycle a bolt gun. ???

If it's true, then that is quite the prize. O0

Yep, that's a classic case of "DON'T MISS!" or it's....YOUR A$$! :buck2 :buck2 :buck2
To you gutless cowards and scumbags, who are trying to lie and rewrite history. To those out to commit genocide on the Southern people with your destruction of Confederate monuments and your attacks on Southern heritage and pride. Be happy for now. Because someday when that civil war you wanted starts. I will find you. And I will kill you.

Saw a shirt once that showed a guy running up a river with a fishing pole in his hand, and grizzley bear chasing him.  The caption said, "Nothing unlocks your true potential like an 800 lb killing machine."  ;D ;D

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
