Been on vacation all week and Mon. thru Wed. has been tough. Henned up birds only gobbling on the roost then silent once on the ground not too mention it has been near 80 and winds at 15mph. But today dawned in the 50's and no wind, and this guy blew the woods down on the roost and kept gobbling once on the ground allowing me to keep track of him while I circled in front. He met his maker at 7:40am at 35 yards. They just can't tote those 3.5" #4's at that distance.
10.5" beard and both spurs 1 1/8" long.
Missing a toe on his left foot so I named him Ole 2 toe!!!
