I have been dodging turkeys and deer on the roads while on patrol every day at work. Sometimes I have to come to a complete stop to avoid them. And at times I don't see the dumb suicide critters in time to avoid them when they pop out of the weeds alongside the road.

I tried eating a couple of the turkeys. They tasted like cardboard, so I quit picking them up and leave them for the buzzards and coyotes. BC informed me of a good way to cook them, so I will pick up the next one and give it a try. :)
