I have heard good things about Anza knives, too. It's a very good knife for very little money. They have a good website that is easy to find on your search engine. It is definitely worth checking out.

Not to short-change John on his knives, here are some of the pictures of his work.  Maybe he'll give me a discount on mine!

The ones I'm having made are like the picture that is the third one up from the bottom.  The one on the log/fence, outdoors, pointing toward the left.

EVEN THOUGH I'VE YET TO RECEIVE THE MAIN KNIFE I NEED:wink:  8) 8) it looks like the quality is really good and he can make about anything that you could ever want.  Contact John for prices.  From what I've seen on other sites, his knives are comperable to others in price, and probably a little better on the quality portion!!!!

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

That's funny, BC. As I was scrolling through those pictures, I thought to myself, "Self, that knofe third from the bottom is the nicest-looking knife in the lot."  :D

According to the pictures, you dream it up, he can make it.  I was just wanting a knife that wasn't too big, looked good, and felt good in your hand.  The one I picked has definitely got 2 of the 3, and really looks like it's got the 3rd also.

I had been wanting to get a custom knife made for some time.  I'd check with several people on it before hand.  They were either too high or their designs weren't what I wanted.  One guy promised me a knife, but 2 years later he still hadn't done it.

Thanks very much for the pictures posting, BC, and thanks for the nice comments from everyone! Most of those are customers' designs, and just a few of the knives I've made. Most of my knife pictures were lost on our old pc.  I prefer to use antler, wood, and natural materials on handles. All the wood you see is the natural color, no dye job on my wood and other handle material.  BC, your first knife is still at the engraver's.
