I ain't cuttin' NOTHIN' back!  :knuppel2   The guns in the safe stay as they are.  If the boy needs a gun, he'll either make due with what's in there or I'll get another one for him.  ;) ;D

BC you cut me up with this stuff!

My dad had an old springfield pump action 12 gauge, with duck tape around the stock, i thought it was ugly as sin and figured my pretty labs wouldn't wanna hunt for a fella with a duck taped gun, so i removed the duck tape to find a saw mark about 3 inches from the butt, i guess his dad tried to make it a youth model and did not succeed because he got worried when the saw ran into metal....  this made me laugh and tease my dad and grandpa, i figured i'd just buy a new stock, they both wished me well on this endevour, i later found out a new stock would run me about $600, i decided to go camo duck tape so ducks wouldn't see me in the marsh, i can still hear my dog laughing at me!

My first gun, an old Springfield 20 gauge shotgun, dad got at a pawn shop somewhere.  It was too long for me, so we took it to a gun smith who cut 2-3" off the stock so it would fit me.  I've still got that gun buried in the back of the safe somewhere.  O0

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

If you know how many guns you have......You don't have  enough! O0
To you gutless cowards and scumbags, who are trying to lie and rewrite history. To those out to commit genocide on the Southern people with your destruction of Confederate monuments and your attacks on Southern heritage and pride. Be happy for now. Because someday when that civil war you wanted starts. I will find you. And I will kill you.
