Homegrown, but a newbie here...
« on: October 11, 2011, 10:29:58 PM »
Grew up in Starkweather, ND 26 miles north of Devils Lake (or it was when I left), lived in Fargo for 23 years and am now living in the country 26 miles north of Minot in the country and love it. Enjoy fishing but haven't done much of it the last few years... enjoy shotgun and rifle reloading for a past time... upland game birds, deer and coyote are what really gets a stir out of me but meat processing and smoking are my passion for my wife and my main hobby.
Life is short, shorter for some than others...

Good to have you around MossyMo!  O0   There aren't as many members on here as some other places, we like to think we have a better "quality" of members than other places.  ;D   No matter what or how you hunt, we're all in favor of it.  ;)

Sounds like you've got a pretty full plate with all your stuff up there.  I don't necessarily "enjoy" the meat processing, but I do enjoy the end result of it.  ;D

Look around, jump in on some of the conversations going on, or start some of your own.  You'll soon be able to tell who on here is full of crap.  ;) ;D

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

Welcome to the gang, Mossy! Nice area you live in, too! I was on a business trip in your area years ago and did some Northern Pike fishing north of you on a small river that had a fallen down steel bridge across it. Fishing was great! I was working around Minot and the Burlington area.

Is that nice bait/tackle store still in Burlington?

To you gutless cowards and scumbags, who are trying to lie and rewrite history. To those out to commit genocide on the Southern people with your destruction of Confederate monuments and your attacks on Southern heritage and pride. Be happy for now. Because someday when that civil war you wanted starts. I will find you. And I will kill you.

Don't worry about Bohica... if it's all the same, he's been lonely since getting dumped by his resident sasquatch so I'd sleep with one eye open if I was you. ;D

And welcome to the site. Glad to have ya! O0
