2012 Turkey Contest Anyone?
« on: February 29, 2012, 10:06:42 PM »
So who is interested in joining a turkey contest for the spring?  Got some thoughts on doing one this year, but with a little bit of a twist to make it fair for everyone who decides to enter.  ;)   Nothing major, but just to make sure that everyone has a fair shot of winning. ;)

So what ya' say?  Anyone interested?  If we have at least 3-4 people wanting to enter, we'll do it.  Sorry John, but tire tracks and/or grill marks don't count.  ::)

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

By all means yes! O0 O0 O0 O0 O0
To you gutless cowards and scumbags, who are trying to lie and rewrite history. To those out to commit genocide on the Southern people with your destruction of Confederate monuments and your attacks on Southern heritage and pride. Be happy for now. Because someday when that civil war you wanted starts. I will find you. And I will kill you.

OOOOOPS! Missed that little part!  ;D

There could be a lot of big bird entries this year, given the light winter we had.

OK, looks like just 3 of us.  Bo, Ned, and myself.

Walked out this morning to leave and could hear a thunder chicken just'a hammerin'!  :D   Between the back door and the truck I bet he gobbled at least 6-7 times.  :)

I'll get the rules done up by tomorrow.
