Almost 100 Manufacturers Decline LE Sales in Some States

(GunAuction.com) -- Since an article appeared in the GunAuction.com e-newsletter two weeks ago, almost 100 manufacturers have announced they are not selling equipment to law-enforcement agencies that the state’s citizens can't own — in particular, New York State.

Originally, LaRue Tactical was one of a few companies that announced a new sales policy for state and local law-enforcement agencies. The company will only sell to local LE agencies what civilians in a given jurisdiction are allowed to own.

Sean Sorrentino is maintaining what’s probably the most current list and links of participating companies at An NC Gun Blog

Another similar list and links are posted at ThePoliceLoophole.com

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

Maybe. Maybe not. An economic boycott along with adverse publicity will hurt the prestige and pride of the police department and I can tell you for a fact the last thing any police department wants is bad publicity. It will be the leos who wind up looking bad here. Not the gun company. Plus the companies can expec an increase in revenue from the people who support the boycott, and that will be larger than most leo agencies in this country.
To you gutless cowards and scumbags, who are trying to lie and rewrite history. To those out to commit genocide on the Southern people with your destruction of Confederate monuments and your attacks on Southern heritage and pride. Be happy for now. Because someday when that civil war you wanted starts. I will find you. And I will kill you.

Yep.  O0  Just like with the recent boycott of the big outdoor show up in PA.  A lot of those companies received some national notoriety that they normally wouldn't have by participating in the boycott.  I ordered a turkey call from one of the guys and will be ordering another this weekend from him.  If he hadn't have been part of the boycott, I wouldn't have known about him.

Same with the companies on that list above.  99.9% of them, I haven't heard of before.  But because they're supporting fellow gun owners in NY, if I need to order something, you can bet your butt it will be from one of those companies.  O0
