Still trying for a bear
« on: May 19, 2014, 03:38:32 PM »
:'(Man , I was out again. Different place same result NUTTEN ! Snow was not a problem, finally. We Boy, his wife and me same three. Gibson reservoir was out killing grounds, if there had been any thing to kill. We took the boat with the plan of slowly running the shore and spotting bear, RIGHT... As I'm standing on the END of the boat ramp, it was still a quarter mile to the water. Even if we would fight the boat in to the water it would have been like hunting in your bath tub , couldn't see the forest over the gravel lake shore. That put us back on our feet lots of boot work and spotting didn't even get us bear poop.
We did see sheep, goats, elk, and a ton of deer but no bear. One of out hunts we did run in to some Native  paintings and some kind of "Shrine".
40 minuets from a road we find a big tree covered with animal sculls that had pictures panted on them. Fairly new not native work. I'm thinking like some one spread some ones ashes and with it being Memorial day coming the decorated it, Don't know.

DO to the increasing cost of energy, Gas,and Electricity. The Down turn in the economy.
The light at the END of the TUNNEL is Now TURNED OFF!!!
