Epic day of shooting and killing
« on: May 26, 2015, 11:55:08 AM »
Well you know any day shooting is a very good day indeed...
A buddy and I went shooting ,what a wonderful day,69* light S.SW. wind under 5 mph. Kinda wet in the morning but that dried up fast with the sun. I shot the standby 22/250 and the bud was shooting his AR 223. First we called coyotes after giving 6 sets ,a good try we only had One coyote on the ground, poop. We bagged the big dogs for the little dogs. We shot around 120 shells and confirmed around 80 Prairie dogs dead . On the trip home we blasted a good amount of gophers too, with the 22's. We also tripped across a baby antelope hiding in plain sight. A very good day of shooting.

On a side note the D-I-L shot her bear today only a 4 1/2 footer but here first.
