Wild Game Nutritional Info
« on: February 05, 2013, 11:06:57 AM »
Not a recipe, but still pretty interesting.  Outdoor Life did an article where they listed the nutritional information for some common critters in North America.

For comparison, here's the info for a 3 oz piece of beef round roast:

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

This particular post wouldn't be aimed at anyone specific would it? :knuppel2 :tickedoff :D ;D
To you gutless cowards and scumbags, who are trying to lie and rewrite history. To those out to commit genocide on the Southern people with your destruction of Confederate monuments and your attacks on Southern heritage and pride. Be happy for now. Because someday when that civil war you wanted starts. I will find you. And I will kill you.

Contrary to popular belief, I'm probably watching my calories and fat more than you are "tubby"!  ;D

Just thought the article was interesting.  You hardly ever find that kind of info.  Matter of fact, I don't believe I've ever seen that kind of info for turtle.  I LOVE TURTLE!  Of course fried probably doesn't help matters.  ::) ;D

Yeah, but fried turtle is good and I bet there is stuff in fried turtle (and squirrel) that a body needs. We always feel good after some good fried turtle and squirrel, so it has to be good for ya, right?

I have known a lot of folks that would disagree, but I have outlived them. So, I am convinced I am right because I am the one above the sod.  A fella can't argue with hard facts.   ;D
