« on: February 16, 2005, 03:39:28 PM »
Ok fellas,Iv perfected the method. Here goes. Dissolve one pack of yeast into 1/2 cup warm water.Add 1/2 cup boiled then cooled to lukewam temperture milk,1/3 cup sugar,1/3 cup softened butter, teaspoon salt,1 egg,2 cups flour.Stir it up good and then add 1 1/2 or 2 cups flour.Only add ass much as you need to make the dough easy to handle. Then knead the dough for 6 minutes. Then make it in a ball, and put it in a greased bowl for 1 1/2 hours to rise untill double. After its risen, punch it down.(push your fist through the middle of the ball to let out large air bubbles) Now put the douygh on a lightly floured surface amd roll it into a 24 inch by 13.5 inch rectangle.Try to make the dough thickness as even as posible. Now spread 1/4 cup of SOFT butter evenly onto the dough. Now mix 1/2 cup sugar and 4 teaspoons cinnamon and sprinkle all of it on the buttered flat piece of dough.Roll it up starting at the 24 inch side. Now youll have a 2 foot roll of dough.Pinch the seam together reall well. Now cut it into 2 inch pieces.Use a yard stick for all this. Now put the pieces in a  greased pan and let them rise another hour. Then put them into a preheated oven at 375 degrees ftill golden brown.Anywhere from 25-35 min. When there in the oven, make the icing.Take 4 ounces SOFT cream chease,1/2 teaspoon vannilla extract,1/2 teaspoon milk, and two cups powdered sugar.Mix them all together well.It may look like way to muckh sugar, but it aint.Dont try to hurry up the precess by putting the whole mixture in the microwave! Just stir it.....itll come.Stir it till theys no lumps! When they come out the oven, spread the icing on them and let it melt all over them.As BC would say,"Its so good,It'll make your togue slap your brains loose!" As the French say," La bon La apettity" er......somethin like that.
ECCLESIASTES 12:13-14 Now all has been heard;here is the conclusion of the matter:Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.For God will bring every deed into judgement, including every hidden thing, wheather it is good or evil.
