Lokking to buy a spotting scope..............
« on: February 20, 2005, 12:23:00 PM »
Hey guys an gals, I'm going to buy a spotting scope next time I get to go home. Any suggestions as to what to buy? I want something that is reasonably priced, and easy to put in a pack and carry around. I've heard that browning has a fairly decent  product.

I've got a Winchester spotting scope.  It's a decent one for the money.  Comes with a tripod and case for both to fit in.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
