To buy or not to buy?
« on: April 25, 2005, 07:33:48 PM »
I have 200 dollars and i donut know much about pellet guns. What is the best gun I could get for the money? Preferably in .22.
One shot, make 'em drop like a rock.

Unless you have bought one already, I need some info to help you decide.
Is this gun just for plinking targets? If it is for hunting then what kind, backyard or long range (20 to 60 yds.)?
You looking for most powerful, or most accurate?
There are may different types of pellet guns, spring piston, precharged nuematic, pump neumatic and co2 powered, they all have there stong points. For $200.00 you will be very limited as to your choices, if you save up and get $300.00 you will more than double your options. If this gun is for hunting, I would suggest getting a more accurate gun, since pellet placement will beat out power anytime. There is just way too many guns to recommend one, not to mention type of pellet (the same gun can shoot one pellet with pinhole accuracy, and another pellet will fly chaotic), a scope or laser sight, bipod etc...
