I just bought a daiwa bait caster, and i love it. You can really get those suckers out there! It took me a while to learn how to use it, but now i got the hang of it and i definitely plan on buying another, some time in the future.

Diawa makes super reels. I had a Goldcast closed faced spinning reel for years, and finally wore it out.  I used it for shore saltwater fishing, too.

I recently purchased a quantum snapshot ss 30. cant wait to test this baby out. its an open face reel but has a "casting trigger", Ive never heard or seen it before but it worked pretty good when I backyard tested it.
