Swap hunt
« on: June 20, 2005, 05:56:26 AM »
G'day folks  :) I'm looking for someone to show me how to hunt US style   .  Im keen to hunt small to big game and maybe some fishing.  Im an Australian and would be happy to return the favour.  I used to live in New Zealand and can arrange a hunt for there as I travel there to hunt every 1 or 2 years.
I'd rather be hunting.

Hey Joe, next time you think you're going to come to the US, let me know.  I'll see what I can hook you up with.  If you can make it somewhere around mid October or mid November I'll get you on some white-tail deer and squirrels.  Possibility even for some turkey mixed in there if in October.  Don't know what the gun restrictions would be like, so don't worry about the guns.  I've got plenty you can use, and have access to quite a few more.  We'll worry about returning the favor sometime later.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

My thoughts exactly. If he decides to go to Washington, Georgia, Oklahoma, or wherever, there will be one of us more than wiling to plan something special and get you into some tree rats and/or whatever is in season.

Same with Ohio. If you get up this way. Don't got no bears, elk or moose and I never seen a wild sheep but we do have turkey deer and the wiley buck toothed demon tree rats
