artist looking for kill scraps!
« on: June 22, 2005, 01:35:03 AM »
Hi all!
I am an arts and crafts type person looking for any and all animal parts possible.  I would like to buy or just take off your hands any bits and pieces off of you that you don't need for taxidermy or that you want to keep.
Things i can use :  hide scraps, somewhat clean bones of all kinds, paws, ears, tails, bird feet and wings, feathers, snake skins, mummified animals/parts, small taxidemied animal like bats, mice, deer hooves, claws of any kind, odd things like porcupine quills, domestic animal skulls/parts.  Basically if you think i might want it, i just may find some use for it.

Please note that i am a college student and not terribly weathly, otherwise i would be buying these things constantly off Ebay  so i would prefer to take any odds and ends off your hands for a discount rate plus any shipping.  I would be terribly grateful for donations and will pay shipping for anything you would like to send me free.  I will do my best to pay you if you have something nice i'd like, and i am always willing to make a little art for anyone  as additional payment.  I have my art website in my profile, so if you'd like to exchange items for a nice drawing/painting/possibly sculpture of your choice, i am very open to barter.  Thanks for reading and feel free to post here or email me any items you are willing to give up.  thanks again! :)
it's ok i'm an artist i can see you naked

To be at GPS, you've got to be a little deviant.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

Why thank you!  i admit i'm a nontraditional artist, but i assure you i'm perfectly sane... just a little wierd.  I found a link to this site from the hunting net forums.  I personally don' hunt, but i am interested in native american crafts.  I'm sorry if i've disturbed anyone,  and i promise i'm not a serial killer or anything  I'm just a HUGE horror movie fan, and i guess that shows up a little too often in my art, at least the stuff i've posted online.
and if anyone has any squirrel tails... those would be great!

Well, I had several tree rat tails but my kittens found them yesterday. Now I have several tufts of fur and a few disassembled tailbones. Maybe later.

I was just kidding! ;D  We'll see what we can get you.  Sorry, no squirrel tails from me though.  I save them and sell them to Mepp's Bait Company.  It helps pay for the cartriges to get the squirrels with.  I do have a turtle in the barrel that I'm going to be cleaning here in a week or two.  I'll send you the shell and the claws off it.  Send me a PM with your address.
