Colorado Wildlife Division Asking Public To Help Catch Poach
« on: January 24, 2004, 12:34:35 PM »
CARBONDALE, CO--Citizens who live in and around Carbondale, Colorado, are being asked to help the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) catch a poacher it says has been illegally killing deer in the area during the past several weeks.

The DOW says four deer have been found shot and left to rot, three of which were bucks.

Those who live in and around Carbondale are being asked to look for, and report, any suspicious behavior to the DOW, Operation Game Thief or local authorities. Anyone who gives information leading to the arrest of the specific poacher in this case could be eligible for a $500 reward from the DOW's Operation Game Thief.

Those with information on this or any other wildlife crime in Colorado are asked to call the Operation Game Thief hotline at (800) 332-4155. Tips can also be e-mailed to game.thief@state.co.us.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
