Michigan DNR Takes Control Of State Game Farms

LANSING, MI—In an effort to control the incidence of chronic wasting disease (CWD) in the state, Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm has transferred regulation of deer and elk farms from the state Agriculture Department to the Department of Natural Resources.

Officials say the change was prompted by a recommendation from the CWD Task Force for increased inspection and enforcement of rules governing captive cervids—members of the deer family.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
