Update: Foxhound Legislation Passes Pennsylvania House
« on: February 08, 2004, 03:24:18 PM »
HARRISBURG, PAŚLegislation to allow the establishment of foxhound training preserves in Pennsylvania has passed the state House and now advances to the Senate.

House Bill 1448 (HB 1448), sponsored by Democratic Rep. Edward Staback, would authorize the Pennsylvania Game Commission to issue permits for foxhound training preserves and allow the use of fox for training. The bill passed the House of Representatives, 115 to 81, and now awaits debate in the Senate Committee on Game and Fisheries.

Pennsylvania sportsmen should contact their senators and ask them to support HB 1448. To find the name of your senator and for contact information, call (717) 787-2872, or use the "Legislative Action Center" on the U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance's Web site, at www.ussportsmen.org.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
