NSSF Sponsoring New Story/Photo Contest
« on: February 08, 2004, 03:25:46 PM »
NEWTOWN, CT—The National Shooting Sports Foundation's STEP OUTSIDE program is sponsoring a new photo and story contest it says aims to "celebrate the natural bonding and quality time spent together that results from sportsmen and sportswoman introducing someone to their favorite outdoor activity."

The contest is open to anyone who has either introduced a newcomer to, or been introduced to, target shooting, hunting, archery or fishing. Contest rules recommend a 250- to 1,000-word story, and any true-life story or photo that reflects the STEP OUTSIDE theme can be submitted for entry. Activities must have taken place between Oct. 1, 2003, and Dec. 31, 2004, and entries must be received by Dec. 31, 2004. Entry forms and complete contest rules are available at www.stepoutside.org.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
