140 acres in Wyoming - antelope country
« on: July 18, 2005, 08:10:57 PM »
I have 140 acres in Medicine Bow Wyoming.  Right in the heart of antelope country.  The property includes a 3 bedroom, 2 bath 1,232 sq. ft. log-sided modular home, an insulated metal pole garage and insulated metal pole barn.  Also overlooking the house is a 3-5 acre pond.  The property is ideal for someone who likes peaceful surroundings and wildlife.  Could be great for a group of hunters.  I'm looking for $160k.  Contact me at pfsrhino@bigplanet.com if you would like more info.

Umm... did I see that number right? ??? Did you say 140 acres with a 3/2 mobile for $160K? The land itself has to be worth that. I can't afford it, but what's the scenery like. Pics would be nice. Now please excuse me while I drool and cry.

Yes you saw that right.  140 acres for 160k.  Not only with a 1999 log-sided modular but also a metal pole garage and metal pole barn.  Tax assessed value is $227k.  Would be great for 2 or 3 hunting buddies to go in on.  It's in the heart of antelope country just outside Medicine Bow, WY.  If you would like pictures you can email me at pfsrhino@bigplanet.com.

I doubt that this is still around.  The posts were from back in 2005.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
