That reminds me of someone that shot their frig! (Wasn't me)!  It reminds me of a fellow in the hospital bed next to me one time. He was admitted with a gunshot wound. Most of his fingers were blown off with a shotgun. I asked him how the accident happened. He related it to me as, "Well, I was crossing over a barbed wire fence, so I stuck the gun over first, with my hand over the end the the barrels. I was almost over the fence when the gun went off. It blew my fingers off! Then, I fell over the fence and my brother in law heard me hollering and came running. I was on the ground when he ran up to me, and threw his rifle down. The rifle went off and almost shot me again!" I asked him if he knew the right way to cross a fence with a gun, and if he and his hunting buddy knew anything about carrying their guns "on safety".  He replyed, "Well, not really"! I told him,"Well, I'm sorry to say this, but did you fellas learn anything from your mishap and you almost getting shot TWICE?" His reply was, "Yep, I sure did! I'm ain't gonna hunt no more!" well, he didn't actually learn the lesson he should have, but it took one or two knuckleheads out of the timber for a while.  :!:
