Bare_trax, a standard pop-up blind is kinda' like a small, camouflaged, free-standing dome tent.  There's all kinds of different styles available.  They've got mesh windows in them that can unfasten very quietly so you can poke a gun barrel out.  You can also shoot through the mesh with gun or bow, but it will put a small hole in it.

John, you should be able to find one that works for a long bow.  There's some out now that are pretty tall............tall enough to stand up in.  If you squat down a little or kneel, it should work.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.
