Well if you are interested and can figure out a way, I have an older mossberg that needs a scope mounted on it,  it's not pretty but I could make you a deal on it.

or if you have access to a ffl dealer, then have them get ahold of southern ohio guns and see if they can get you a romanian 1969 trainer.  they are around 70 dollars an they are a no frills bolt action 22.  I have one and I love it.

Here's a link for you...

Let me know what you think...

that romanian trainer is one sweet looking gun, Ive always had a spot for bolt actions.  now its only 70 bucks you say?  also, there no way to ship weapons is there?  kinda sucks because i just moved from ohio where picking these up wouldnt have been a problem.  thanks alot for the info and the offer, really.

wait, FFL dealer? whats that and they can get them for me down here?

I am sure you could hit almost any pawn shop or even new is not that expencive for a .22 right in your own area, then you dont have to worry about the ffl, and other stuff.. heck a good .22 goes for tops 130-150 brand new, with scope...   a real good one well i aint selling  ;D
when in doubt shoot twice

go to walmart, check their prices, then check pawn shops and your local outdoor stores etc....
