what are the best lures to use for winter bass in the midwest?
i love shootin squirrel in the head

Squirrelslayer, anything with fuse long enough to allow you to get back safely off the ice! Just joking, of course! Fellas here have done pretty good with small :roll:  ice fishing lures and bait. :roll:

not ice fishing just cold waters its in the 50's and the water is like in the 40-45's
i love shootin squirrel in the head

Squirrelslayer, one of my fellow officers and his son were fishing in your neck of the woods last weekend. They did great on smaller size Rattle Traps for bass. It was near some place where they have been clobbering snow geese recently.
