anyone know any good plans for a rabbit/squirrel trap?
i love shootin squirrel in the head

you could try a box trap with a sliding door (drop down) or you could try a snare...(check to see what's legal, and please be carefull, it is hard to ensure that you will catch a rabbit and not someone's favorite beagle that is following a well used rabbit trail.)

with the box trap you catch the animals alive, so if you have the wrong one, you can let it go... if you look up a "have-a-hart trap" you can look at it and get some ideas on how to build one out of  wood with your tools....

P.S. an idea for a job for you... see if there are any houses being built near you, talk to the foreman, and see if you can clean up the jobsite after they are done for the day. it won't interfere with school, and for a bonus you can get some scraps around the site for building any projects that you may have. (plus as many nails as you can carry.)  then if you build stuff to sell, it won't cost you much for supplies.  you can also make some luxury tree stands. (back rests, seats, holders for whatever you want...)

learn to make the figure four trap, by adjusting the size you can catch most anything,,,,cept that blonde next door,,,maybe i should bait it with cash?
