Marlin may God hold your father in his arms.

We are really sorry for your father passing away, Marlin.  I bet he is drawing a bead on a big buck up there right now.

Sorry to hear that, but when the Big Guy punches your ticket, it's time to go.  Guess He needed some population control up there. O0

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

Very sorry for your loss, Marlin.  I'm in the same boat with my gramps.  he's got prostate cancer and is in alot of pain and not eating, so it's only a matter of time for him.  I keep waiting for the phone call from my mom who has moved in with gramma and grandpa, but I try to get up to see him every chance I get.  My prayers are with you and yours.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I know how you feel I lost my dad who was my best friend a few years ago. But I know every time I go on a hunt he is right there with me I can really feel him. I am sure it will be the same for you. I also know he helps give that hung up deer a little push my way when he can.     Accept my condolences                      Mike
