I took a fall off a cliff years ago, breaking a lot of bones. I was looking down on on the treetops when I fell. After a long crawl to the car and months of healing, I decided  leather soled boots are really slick when walking on wet moss at a cliff edge.

I thought Indians were supposed to be smart? ???
Sometimes, not always! My great discovery that day when I finally was able to move several hours after that fall, was that I was still alive. My rifle was still clutched to my chest, with a gouge out of the checkpiece of the stock. I was lying on my back on the sharp rocks next to a creek too deep and swift to swim, even if I was able to swim. The crawl across the downed tree that layed across the stream was a godsend, but the tree had a lot of limbs that hindered my crawl. I wasn't about to leave my Mauser behind, either. It was late that night when I reached the car, fresh out of cuss words and endurance after the long crawl.  Anyhow, I want to advise, when you get close to the bottom of a cliff, watch out for falling Indians. :D

I've got planty of my own, but I'll not relinquish my own stupidity for the sake of your amusement... I WILL, however, tell a couple of my old man. When he was 18, he got on a bike for the first time in his life, started down a hill in the Sierra Nevada's, and woke up 3 days later in the hospital. To this day, he hears nothing on his right side, smells nothing, and tastes only the most potent of flavors.

Another; when he was a kid, he was watching the three stooges (with their genius artwork O0 ) and after watching Moe break a plate over Curly's head, went out to the trash barrel, pulled out a heavy porcelain plate, and crashed it over his own head... he woke up an hour later and never told his parents about it. ???
When I was a child, I lived as a child. When I became a man, I put away my childish things and became a Gutpiler!

I don't remember the 3 stooges ever having a disclaimer like: " Kids, don't try this at home" Ask your dad if he ever poked anyone's eye out ;D

...Some years back now, while hanging a cable TV line a limb which my ladder was set against broke. It was a good sized limb, approx. 5" in diameter, but was a willow limb, not strong to begin with. Anyway the limb broke causing me to fall 28 feet into a marshy area. I landed feet first, ankles went into the soft earth right up to my lower shin. I did get scrapes and bruises from vegetation I came through on the way down, but wasn't hurt beyond that. Very fortunate indeed!

time for me to tell my tales....oh yea they arnt all about trees.  not to long age i was on my scooter and i was going fast down the road when i jumped off it and grabed a basketball net flew back and ailed my head... about a week ago i was riding wheelies when i pulled it up to far fliped back (whole bike off the ground) and it landed smack on my back.  i was going fast down hill then decided to do a stopie (its a wheelie on ur front wheel) by puting my foot in the tire to stop it...well i was going way tofast and i liturly did a front flip and the bike flew ofer my head.  hmm wut else... oh yea!  i was on a trampaline with a saftey net around it (wasnt doing much saving though) because i bounced a little to high and my foot hit the net and i fell about9-10 feet to the ground.  hmm.... some more biking ones....i was at a bmx racing track when i wasnt fermilular with it and i was on the first jump and i landed on the other side wronge and face planted (almost breaking my neck) toor up my whole left side.  i broke both my arms by jumping off a swing backwards...  had to get stiches in my left leg because my bike pedal went into it from a bad crash.  whiped myself in the eye with a bull whip.  got hit by about 20 parked cars in my life.... i think thats it... if i think of more il post them O0

wow squadoosh. thats alot

now heres some of mine. well i was like 6 and i was on my deck holding a basketball and i threw it down and somehow fliped over the railing and fell on my stomach from like 15 feet.    Then a few years ago i hit this jump with my bike and i acidently got my foot stuck in my front wheel and wen i hit the grond i did like 2 summersults with the bike on me.  and  about 3 months ago i was skateboarding and was trying to kick flip this gap and i landed on the side of my foot and tore some stuff in my foot and i was on cruches for a while...  oh i forgot..  (this isnt a fall) i was cutting wood with a freind. I had the hatchet and he had a machette. he stopped cuttingn the wood so i rested my hand on it and he didnt notice so he started chopping again... :-\   he got my index finger right on the nuckle, so i had stiches and it broke my finger.   thats all i can think of for now now
