In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

Sweet!!! O0 It's a possibility that I may not have to work Saturday, If that's the case, I'll be heading to my home in the Mountains of KY. While there, my entire weekend is going to be deicated to scouting (wifey will be busy with throwing a baby shower  O0 ) The boy is going along with me, should be a good time to teach him about turkey signs, ect... I'll let you guys know how it goes.

As rough as a lot of Kentucky is, I would think Kentucky would be overun with birds. A fella that lives north of BC says they have a LOT of birds and deer.

There's some really good birds that come out of Hoskins' area. O0  There's a pretty good population of them there as well.  Just ask the grouse hunters in the area what they think of the turkey population. ;D

Good deal on the birds Strutter. O0  You need to try to throw a rope around a couple of them and tie them to a tree for opening weekend. O0
