Sure Allen. I have a bow with the name Robin Hood on one of the cams, but I can't see any other markeing as to the maker. Since I've never heard of a "Robin Hood" manufacturer, I was thinking it was just the model name. Anywho, ever heard of it?

is it a 2cam 1cam or round wheel bow?  i have never heard of that . i'm thinking its the bows name and not the manufacture. is it pretty old. does it say anything on the limb or riser?

KS_Sniper,
I believe that bow is a "Robin Hood Little John" from the 70's.  I would hold on to that one, not to many around anymore and not to many people have heard of them.  I heard of a couple guys saying it was there first compound bow but I have never seen one. Do you think you could take a picture of it and post it on here?

I sure will. I swiped it from my oldest brother in exchange for clearing a debt he owed me. He got it from my old man, but I've shot that bow for years, just not too much in the last 10 years. It's in decent shape and the Robin Hood is on a limb, not a cam. (Got confused there) It's a single cam and just needs a good cleaning before I decide to take it into the field. When I get my hands on a dig camera, I'll post the pics.

Good Deal   O0  O0

I also believe that is the first single cam bow ever made as well.   Like I said, I have never seen one but I go around to flea markets and buy up old bows.  I would love to find one of them and a picture of yours would sure be helpful in knowing what to look for.

I have an old bear bow with a wooden riser that is a compound bow. The serial numbers at that time were hand written on the limbs and the initials of the person that put it together.  I don't know if it has any merit or not but the serial number is 0004 and the initials are F. B.   I don't know if it was put together by Fred Bear or not but when I seen the number and the initials, I snatched it up just in case.  O0
