Wirwin I really feel for you, it sounds like a tough situation to be in and I'm not sure how I would have reacted if I was in your shoes. What I do know forsure is that your one tough together young man, and my hat is off to you for dealing with all of this in such a composed manner. As you can see we all feel for you and your situation, we would all like to take you under our wings and share our individual beliefs with you. Fact is your 13 and living at home, ( not leaving to many options ) this venue of soliciting ideas from your Gutpile friends is a great approach. You will gather a whole gamut of suggestions and tons of on-line support... truth is you have to deal with this the best way you can, through decisions you will ultimately have to make on your own. I don't know what your personal situation is as to if you live in town, have outdoors smarts, etc... but I guess I would do whatever I had to do to supplement my diet. I would eat over at friends houses, eat at school, hunt, fish, trap, maybe earn some money so I could buy some items for myself, etc...  Consider the rest of your you have a good life, is this the biggest problem that you have? Life could be worse. Just keep up with this approach, seek knowledge from your friends, never give up or run away from your problems and in the end it will work out for you. I am personally very proud of the way you are handling all of this.
We must remember that one determined person can make a significant difference, and that a small group of determined people can change the coarse of history.

wow i donno where you got that from but homogenized dont mean that.
it is the final act of making something
homogenous to make something uniform in consistancy, in milk they do it by emulsifying the fat content.

therefor you can make paint homogenous by shaking it until it is a uniform cosistancy (NO CHUNKS)

Yeah, I went off on that rant without properly researching the actual definition of the word; however, the basis for the information is sound. (i.e. - dairy farms pump chemicals into cows to produce more milk, which in turn, blah, blah, blah...) Wasn't trying to come across as a health nut, by any means. Although, in a perfect situation, you could obtain all your own meats and therefore avoid the chemicals of corporate america, it's completely impractical to expect somebody, ANYBODY, to live by a vegan lifestyle if they are not supportive of it.

wirwin, give it time. Eat the foods your mom puts in front of you, but make the comments that let her know that you can't support her making this decision FOR you. She may, very well, find out on her own this very thing. But, knowing the smidgen about women that I do, it has to be their idea, or it's not gonna fly.

well of course they pump them full of hormones and such for more production of milk and the like, but thats like saying the pasturizing is bad as well, when we all know thats what kills the microbes that are trying to grow in it.

lady wanted to take a bath in milk, guy asks you want it pasturized?
naw just up to my boobs will be fine
when in doubt shoot twice
