Also, the decrease in length, I guess, can be contributed to the new Parallel Limb Designs that are all the rage right now.

Yeah, I've noticed that since I started looking at bows.  Some of the new ones look less like a bow and more like a box.  Without sounding stupid (although when it comes to this stuff I am) what is the advantage to the parallel limb design anyway???

My understaing of the Parallel Limb Design is that it supposedly produces less recoil and basically provides a smaller, more maneuveral bow.
I have long know that it is part of God's plan for me to spend a little time with each of the most stupid people on earth.
