Ours opened last Saturday.  I haven't gone yet, but I've heard of some decent ones being taken.  So far I know of 2 that would qualify for P&Y and were in full velvet.  I don't know if P&Y accepts whitetails in velvet though.

In all seriousness, the Marlin is a great rifle, too. I own a Model 60, one of the best rifles ever made.
Brownings are nice, but in terms of quality AND accuarcy AND ruggedness, it's hard to beat the Marlin.
California sucks that's it.

Here's a couple taken so far (not by me).  I don't know what the first one scores, but he's a dandy.  The second one scores approx. 125, but is in full velvet.  You'll have to click on the links to check them out.
