Anyone seen this before?
« on: October 10, 2006, 09:13:32 PM »
I am not sure of the validity of this but this was sent to me by a fellow hunter from work.

Quote
This Elk was killed with a bow in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness in Montana.  He green scored 575" and should net out at about 530" non typical.  He has an unbelievable outside spread of 79". This is the biggest bull ever taken with any weapon.
Shoot straight and dropem where they stand!

Here's the story I'm getting:

Click to read quote of Todd Franks

"This elk was killed in Quebec on a preserve. The preserve was as large a facility as Quebec allows and I can attest it is about as thick as any country I have ever seen. We were visiting friends prior to this bull being harvested and we looked for him in the preserve for 2 days and only saw him twice and never could get close enough for a good picture.

He scored 561" - 563" depending on who scored him."

Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here, and drink whatever comes out?"
