Anyone on this board ever hunt Camp Wainwright in Alberta? We got drawn for a 3 day hunt beginning Dec. 7th. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

well we did our hunt and had an awesome time. Saw lots of deer and moose. Some really nice bulls. You get two deer tags and can take either sex, either species. The 4 of us came back with 6 deer but could have easily filled all our tags. We didn't see any huge bucks dead or alive. Our biggest was 4 point 140ish muley. It takes 4 years to get into the camp and I can't wait. Will be taking my son with me next time.

I'm with Morax. Never heard of the place until you mentioned it. And his grasp on the english language is amaz-az-ing. Sorry, Morax... saw your post and thought of Dana Carvey in Benchwarmers when the jock adds a syllable to athlete... kinda like your amenities turned into amenidities. ;D O0
