I have had many different breeds of dog over the years but I just recently made the acqaintance of a rat terrier ( Fiest ). My Fater-in-law recieved one as a gift this past summer and the whole family has been bringing him up. I'm really impressed in every way with this breed and plan on making it my next best friend.
Great looking friend you have there...good luck and happy hunting.
We must remember that one determined person can make a significant difference, and that a small group of determined people can change the coarse of history.

It takes patience to break a good hound. Ya gotta be persistent and it helps to be a lil smarter then the dog.

hopefully he isnt brain injured like my golden retreiver. he will only grab ducks and geese by one place-squarely by the butt. i put 2 couch cushions in his kennel for cold winter nights. he stacked them neatly in the front yard, humped them, then tore them to peices. while the other dogs are whining, just wantin to retreive, duke lays there with his head on my lap, sleeping, and at the sound of the gunshot opens one eye and glares at me for disturbing his nap. then, with much coaxing,he walks slowly down to the water, tests it,then wades in. he then grabs the duck by the butt, drops it as soon as he gets to shore, and lays down to resume his nap.i think he might be a stoner.
