Yep, they require mantles all right.  I cannot access E-bay from the office, so I can't view them now.  The one in your picture looks like the old model without the piezo electric ignition.  Regardless, what were they asking for that one?  (Can you trust buying stuff on E-bay?  I have never done that before.)

Knock on wood....but I've had good luck with stuff on e-bay.... ???

You just have to look at the seller rating and make sure you read the entire post about the product.  If it's sold 'as is' most time you don't want it, but most time you fine some really nice stuff at dirt cheap prices.  And most times it so cheap that even if it only works a few times, your still only out $20 or $30 so you can still say screw it and go buy your brand new one.

I personally think e-bay is a great tool, but that's just my opinion.... O0
